Multi-Car Discount
If someone in your house has a policy with us and you insure your car with us too, we'll reward your loyalty with 10% discount. Discount will be given to the second and any subsequent cars insured with us from your home. Discount will be taken off the risk based premium.
Example
You have a car that's insured by Tesco car insurance and your wife buys a second car that she insures with Tesco - she's now entitled to a discount on her premium.
Named Driver Discount
We're giving named drivers on Tesco policies 30% - 50% discount off the risk based premium when they take out a policy of their own with us. Just give us the name, date of birth and postcode of the policyholder whose insurance you are/were covered under and we'll confirm your discount.
This benefit cannot be transferred to policies with other insurers. Discount is based on the number of continuous years as a named driver (min 1 yr) at the time the discount is applied. The policy you are named under must be live when your discount is applied.
Example
Your son has been insured on your Tesco
car insurance policy for a year. He buys his
own car and insures it with Tesco Car
insurance. He's now entitled to a discount.
